The X32 application can be used to control the X-32 over a network. In order to achieve this, both the X32 and the computer you wish to control it with need to be connected to the same network. This can be achieved by either connecting them directly with an Ethernet cable, or by connecting them both to the same router.

How do I configure my XR18/X18 or MR18 to playback signal from my computer?

Using a TOSLINK cable, connect the ADAT in of your UMC1820 to the ADAT out of the additional device, and the ADAT out of the additional device to the ADAT in of the UMC1820.

When the UMC powers on, whether via USB bus or Power supply the on board DSP will emit a noise which cannot be stopped.

Before performing the reset, we would always recommend that you backup your device's settings via a Sysex Dump. Steps on how to do this can be found at the following link.
