The interface features one Microphone preamp based on Midas console engineering. It amplifies microphone signals before analog-to-digital conversion, while +48V phantom power supports compatible condenser microphones.
Versatile Microphone, Instrument and Line Inputs
The DICE 1U2 includes a combo XLR/6.3 mm microphone/line input and a separate 6.3 mm instrument/line input. This configuration allows users to connect a microphone and an electric guitar or another compatible line-level source for simultaneous recording.
Zero-Latency Direct Monitoring
Direct Monitoring allows musicians and recording artists to hear their input signals directly without waiting for audio to pass through computer recording software. This provides immediate audio feedback during recording sessions.
Headphone and Studio Monitor Outputs
The interface provides a 6.3 mm stereo headphone output and two 6.3 mm monitor outputs for connecting studio monitors. These connections support headphone monitoring and stereo playback during recording and production.
