IPX SERIES
High power density, competitive cost and power consumption efficiency make IPX 4800 the ideal compact yet powerful amp solution whether for permanent installations, portable corporate AV systems, or live PA setups.
Muscles Meet Mind
The IPX 4800 is our most powerful amplifier In the IPX series, making it perfect for larger venues. Delivering 2 x 2400 W at 4 ohms, IPX 4800 packs reliable power and performance into a single rack space and fills the gap for driving larger, more power-hungry subs. But raw muscle power is not enough. At the heart of the IPX platform, you’ll find a cutting-edge DSP engine equipped with up to 40 real-time, multi-slope parametric EQs along with adjustable gain, input, and output delay – and both high- and low-pass filters adjustable to any frequency.
The DSP also provides extensive protection for your loudspeaker system in the form of the innovative software-controlled Speaker Protect Limiter. You can configure this with ease from within the IPX Controller software.
Take Control at the Rack. Or Anywhere.
You can access all setup parameters for input mixing, DSP features and limiter settings on the front panel, using two navigation buttons, a rotary encoder, and the backlit display. Individual channel mute buttons are also available, and up to 50 user-defined presets may be stored on-board.
The Fast and The Foolproof – One and the Same!
Most likely, you also want to take advantage of the advanced, Ethernet-based networked monitoring and control features. Network configuration is fast and foolproof due to automatic discovery and identification of all connected amplifiers. The sleek GUI is designed for touch-based devices and enables quick grouping of amplifiers along with intuitive setup and preset storage of all DSP parameters.
Flexible I/O and Conversion Features
With AES3 digital inputs standard, IPX 4800 connects directly to digital console stage boxes, or accepts AES input along with on-board sample rate conversion between all commonly used sample frequencies within the digital domain, eliminating a D-A/A-D conversion cycle. You can also combine various IPX series amplifiers to fit the need of the venue, whether it’s a stadium or convention center. Additionally, AES3 inputs can be set for automatic fail-over to analog (perfect redundancy solution for keeping the show going, or in case of installations – maintaining system integrity for mission-critical PA/VA system applications). Further, input mixing is available for all four inputs, and at the power output end, connections are available on binding posts or Neutrik SpeakON.
IPX Controller
At the heart of IPX Series is the intuitive and fast GUI of the IPX Controller software, giving you powerful hands-on control over just about every aspect of DSP performance for each device on the network. IPX Controller is available for PC and Mac, and it was designed from the ground up with touchscreen operation in mind. Quite simply, IPX Controller gives you an edge when it comes to tuning your system for perfection.
Supercharged DSP Power
IPX Series boasts a state-of-the-art DSP engine equipped with up to 40 real-time, multi-slope parametric EQs along with adjustable gain and input- and output delay, as well as both high- and low-pass filters adjustable to any frequency. This makes IPX Series akin to a standalone digital audio processor – with the added bonus of 2 powerful and pristine amplifier channels on the side!
