Architecture and Engineering Specifications
The speaker shall be of the full range, two-way passive type consisting of one 10" (250 mm) LF ferrite driver and one 1" (25 mm) HF ferrite compression driver with 1.5” voice coil. Performance specifications of a typical production unit shall meet or exceed the following: frequency response, measured with swept sine WAVE input, shall be flat within ±3 dB from 80 Hz to 20 kHz and within -10 dB from 48 Hz to 20 kHz. Nominal dispersion, at -6 dB points, shall average 80° H x 60° V, rotatable. Nominal impedance shall be passive: 8 Ohms.
Power handling shall be passive: 350 Watts continuous, 1,400 Watts peak. Sensitivity, measured on axis, mean averaged over the stated bandwidth, shall be 96 dB, 1 Watt @ 1 metre. Maximum SPL of 133 dB in passive mode (Average Peak level over overlap bandwidth. SPL level at 1 m under free field conditions, using pink noise with crest factor 4, with dedicated pre-set).
Dimensions: 590 mm high x 322 mm wide x 400 mm deep (23.2 x 12.7 x 15.8") Net weight: 20 kg (44.1 lbs). The loudspeaker system shall be the Turbosound KT10-HP. No other loudspeaker shall be acceptable unless submitted data from an independent test laboratory verifies that the above combined performance / size specifications are equalled or exceeded.
