TC Bar S is suitable for small meeting rooms of approximately 3 × 4.5 m with up to 7 people. TC Bar M, on the other hand, is designed for small to medium-sized meeting rooms measuring approximately 4.5 × 6 m and supporting up to 12 people.

This difference makes model selection relatively straightforward. For smaller meeting rooms with a limited number of participants, TC Bar S is the version Sennheiser has designed for this application. For larger rooms with more participants, TC Bar M provides a more suitable coverage range.
In addition to room size, the two versions differ in network connectivity. TC Bar S has one network port, while TC Bar M has two network connections, providing greater flexibility when the control network and Dante network need to be separated within the system.
In terms of operation, both models can be deployed in two configurations: connected directly to a computer as a standalone conferencing system, or integrated into an enterprise network through Sennheiser Control Cockpit. In standalone mode, TC Bar connects directly to the endpoint via USB-C, with some functions being limited. In a network deployment, the device can be managed through Control Cockpit to access extended management and configuration functions.
