From improvisation sessions during the COVID period to a recording journey through the Icelandic landscape, POEMS is where poetry, music, and place come together. Composer Viktor Orri Árnason and soprano Álfheiður Erla Guðmundsdóttir brought the works of Icelandic poets back to the very landscapes connected to them and captured that journey using a compact Neumann studio equipment setup.
