Why does my UMC interface make noise when powering on and off?

4.6/5 in 2 votes When the UMC powers on, whether via USB bus or Power supply the on board DSP will emit a noise which cannot be stopped.
For this reason it is important to use best practice of powering on your speakers ON LAST and OFF FIRST.
