High-Performance Audio Design
At the core of the VHA 406 A is a bi-amplified 2-way system: four custom 165 mm (6.5″) woofers with 38 mm (1.5″) voice-coils handle the low end, while a neodymium B&C compression high-frequency driver with a 36 mm (1.4″) throat and 64 mm (2.5″) coil covers the upper range. The built-in Class-D amplifiers provide 600 W RMS for LF and 300 W RMS for HF, with peak power ratings of 1200 W / 600 W respectively. The frequency response spans from 65 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB), ensuring full-range performance with controlled directivity.
Precision Dispersion & Rigging Flexibility
FBT’s large-format waveguide delivers a uniform dispersion pattern of 90° horizontally by 20° vertically, enabling consistent coverage and directivity in complex venues. The enclosure features integrated suspension hardware with inclinable array settings from 5° to 20° in 5° STEPS, and supports both vertical and horizontal mounting via dedicated flybars. Rugged Build for Touring & Permanent Use
The cabinet is fabricated in robust 12 mm Baltic-birch plywood, finished with an anti-scratch varnish for durability on the road. Ergonomic rubber-insert handles and rubber-coated sides protect the enclosure during transport and setup. Input connectivity includes XLR in/out loop, and power is supplied through Neutrik PowerCON TRUE1 IN and LINK connectors, offering machine-room class reliability under demanding use.
Operational Convenience & Control
On-board DSP provides eight selectable equalisation presets, offering simple integration into a wide range of sound systems. The control panel features level adjustment, preset selection, high-pass filter toggle, and a ground-lift switch—making setup fast and intuitive for audio professionals.
