XSW 1 Scan and Sync
Follow the instructions below for scanning for new frequencies and synchronising your transmitter and receiver in XSW 1 systems:
- Start off by turning on the receiver, and turning off all the transmitters
- On the receiver, make sure the squelch knob in the back is set to the lowest setting possible.
- Back on the receiver, press and hold the SET SCAN button for 3 seconds until the numbers on the display start rotating, this means the unit is scanning.
- After the scan is completed, the number will start blinking waiting for the user to accept the new frequency, simply press the SET SCAN button once to set a new frequency.
- Turn on the transmitter and sync it to the receiver. This can be achieved by pressing and holding the SYNC button on the transmitter until the on/off button start flashing red and green. This means the transmitter is in sync mode.
- Move the receiver and press the SYNC button once to accept the sync. This will send the info of the receiver to the transmitter.
- Raise the squelch knob on the back of the receiver to the middle position once you have selected a clean frequency.
