Neumann has released RIME 1.5, an update to its Reference Immersive Monitoring Environment software designed for immersive audio monitoring through headphones. The new version introduces improved bass response, greater transient accuracy, 3DOF head tracking and additional multichannel formats. It also expands monitoring controls and introduces a standalone macOS application, offering greater flexibility for professional audio production workflows.

The Neumann KH 80 DSP is a compact two-way active studio monitor and the first model in Neumann's KH series to incorporate digital signal processing. Featuring a 4-inch woofer, precision-engineered drivers and advanced DSP correction, it delivers remarkable clarity, accurate stereo imaging and impressive bass performance, making it suitable for desktop monitoring, small studios and space-limited professional installations.

The Neumann KH 120 II is an updated version of the original KH 120 nearfield monitor, incorporating technologies developed for the KH 150. Featuring a two-way active design, integrated DSP and compatibility with Neumann's MA 1 room alignment system, the KH 120 II delivers accurate frequency response, low distortion and impressive bass performance in a compact enclosure.

The Neumann TLM 102 is a compact large-diaphragm condenser microphone featuring a fixed cardioid polar pattern and transformerless circuitry. Designed primarily for vocal recording in professional and project studios, it can also handle sound pressure levels up to 144 dB SPL, making it suitable for various instruments, including acoustic guitar, percussion and guitar amplifiers.

Neumann is widely known for microphones and, more recently, studio monitors and headphones, but the company also manufactured mixing consoles with high-quality microphone preamps from the 1960s to the 1990s. The V 402 marks Neumann's first standalone microphone preamp, combining two preamp channels, instrument inputs and an integrated headphone amplifier in a substantial studio-focused design.

The Neumann NDH 20 marked the company's first entry into studio headphones. Combining a closed-back, over-ear design with robust construction and high isolation, the NDH 20 is not intended to make recordings sound more flattering. Instead, it focuses on monitoring and analytical listening, helping recording engineers identify problems in recordings and mixes that can be difficult to hear on other systems.

The Neumann KH 150 is a two-way active monitor designed to fill the gap between the compact KH 120 and the larger three-way KH 310. Combining a 165mm bass/mid driver, 25mm tweeter, onboard DSP and integration with MA 1, the KH 150 delivers extended bandwidth, substantial output capability and precise monitoring from a relatively compact nearfield design.

The Neumann MT 48 is an audio interface developed from the Merging Anubis platform, combining USB, RAVENNA and ADAT connectivity in a compact desktop unit. Alongside its conversion and preamp performance, the MT 48 provides touchscreen operation, onboard DSP and extensive monitoring control, creating a flexible recording workflow for modern studio production.

Neumann has brought the M 50 back with the M 50 V, continuing the legacy of the tube microphone introduced in 1951 and closely associated with the Decca Tree technique. The new version retains the M 50's distinctive acoustic concept while introducing a titanium diaphragm, low-noise subminiature tube and RF-proof connectivity for contemporary recording environments.

Neumann RIME (Reference Immersive Monitoring Environment) brings a 7.1.4 immersive monitoring environment to headphones. Rather than creating an entirely algorithmic space, Neumann captured a real mixing room using the KU 100, together with a Neumann loudspeaker system and MA 1, then recreated the monitoring experience specifically for the NDH 20 and NDH 30.
