At first, both surfaces are heavily hand-hammered

After giving the cymbals sufficient time to relax, we add some extra big hammering marks on the top surface before lathing.

Heavily hammered with a full, medium-dry sustain and high-pitched ping from the bell. Clear stick articulation for fast, jazzy patterns.

Overview of Jazz

Hand crafted in Istanbul, Turkey. Heavy hammered cymbals with full, dry, high-pitched metallic sound. Nice stick definition. For centuries, cymbals have been made in artisan workshops in Istanbul, Turkey, the acknowleged home of quality cymbal making. Cymbal alloys (most notably B20 alloys) have secret recipes passed through generations.
In the production process, first both surfaces are heavily hand-hammered in the traditional art. After giving the cymbals sufficient time to relax and settle, we hammer additional big stokes on the top surface just before lathing to create that special jazz quality. These cymbals light up any acoustic or jazzy situation!
